Steven Brundage, DMA, is the Founder of Green Willow Academy, a private piano studio in Greenville, S.C., the Founder and Director of Greenville Youth Chorale (www.greenvilleyouthchorale.org) and the Founder and Producer for GVL Virtual Choir (www.gvlvirtualchoir.com).
He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of South Carolina and teaches in-studio, in-home, and virtual private piano lessons as well as Music Artistry Classes to students ages 5 through adult, focusing on elementary through advanced classical studies, beginning jazz, contemporary worship and traditional hymn playing.
His work with the Greenville Youth Chorale and GVL Virtual Choir as Executive Director and Producer has involved working with more than 200 singers and collaborations with the Greenville Symphony Orchestra and tenor, Patrick Dunn, of the National Tour of Les Miserables.
Steven's award-winning writing appears in the national publications Clavier Companion, the College Music Society Symposium, and American Music Teacher, on topics of performance anxiety, talent development, and music business.
